The result was over 350 downloads of the ePub format for Kindle and Nook and a few for Sony and some others. The only bummer was that although the viewers said nice things on Twitter ( GREAT READ!!!, Exciting! etc) they forgot to leave a review on Smashwords. I have excused them for their remiss because to write a review on Smashwords, you have to go to the page where you chose the download format and look for the teeny tiny two words "Write Review" and even then to give it the five stars it deserves ( ahem) you have to look close to see where you do that because you have to run the mouse over the stars to highlight. Hey, just the fact that there were this many downloads ( and they continue to click right along as we post here) makes yours truly ecstatic. The fact that people are not writing a review is kind of like loaning your wheels to your best buddy and he brings it back without filling the tank? Get the analogy? In this series, actually Tim Ryan is not the main character--his son Billy is. Billy and his buddy Chad are, at the time of the story grown and finished college. They then go to work for the government as analysts in the C.I.A. They decide to take a surfing vacation in Costa Rica and inadvertently become involved with the biggest drug cartel in Central America. What follows is the boys are captured and Tim and his pals from EXTRACTION decide to come to Costa Rica and get them released. All of this happens with the guys from Homeland Security Agency and the CIA trying to keep up with what they consider a bunch of over the hill veterans trying to pull off their own special ops. That is, until they find out WHO these guys are. In the process of staying alive, Billy and Chad meet a older German man that has been living in Venezuela for some time. It turns out that he is a WW2 U Boat Captain that has escaped with a bunch of der Fuhrers gold that was taken from the Jews in Germany and Poland. September 1 Release Date for RECIPROCITY --ON Target!!
Contrary to what my EX-agent ( as in EXspouse) used to claim, I DO and CAN keep deadlines. We launched our second in the Tim Ryan series today RECIPROCITY.
